Brand new RMSTATOR Red Machined aluminium MOSFET Regulator.
The new red machined aluminium MOSFET voltage regulator is a great upgrade for heat dissipation in any powersports charging system. After 10 minutes of use, The billet aluminium heatsink runs cooler by 33% than standard cast regulator housings. The new red regulator, equipped with the renowned MOSFET regulation technology, is an added value to any three-phase permanent magnet charging system.
STOP BURNING the REGULATOR RECTIFIER!
It is time to update or replace the voltage regulator with the advanced MOSFET type.
It runs cooler than all OEM diode-style regulators. In addition, this rectifier has overheat protection; rather than burn up, it will simply turn off for a while and cool off.
- Direct replacement to the original unit.
- Plug-and-play, direct fit, easy installation.
- The quality exceeds the OEM equipment.
- Improved heat sink and charging capabilities.
- Higher grade of electric components.
- All shipped products are tested.
We have even included the opposite connector (main harness side) as we know these are often melted / corroded / defective and a major cause of repetitive electrical issues.
All item pictures are accurate; if in doubt, do not hesitate to compare The item to the original part.
Why use MOSFET Enhanced technology?
- Runs cooler: Runs much cooler than the traditional Shunt voltage regulator rectifier.
- Saves gas: Less load on the stator, less work, less fuel is used and you save.
- Regulated energy: The power charging the battery is steadier and smooth.
- Extended battery life: Extends the battery’s life and cold cranking capacity.
- More engine power: Removes stator load resulting in more engine power.
- Optimised power: Optimise power delivery by switching the stator coils on or off.
This product is an advanced design that lowers operating temperatures for extended longevity and better performance than the OEM part.
Before installing the new Voltage Regulator Rectifier:
- Check the AC output of the stator.
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator rectifier.
- Check and repair any melted wiring.
- Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.
2006 2007 Can-Am Outlander 400 Installation Particularities
If you are using this regulator for 2006 2007 Can-Am Outlander 400 fitments, it will function perfectly fine. You will need to convert the vehicle wiring to The included mating connectors.
From the original stator connector, the outer 2 Yellow wires will be spliced into 1, the centre 2 Yellow wires will be spliced into 1, and the opposite outer 2 Yellow wires will be spliced into 1. These go into The Grey connector in any location; there is no order.
The Red Battery + goes to the inner terminal of the Black connector. The Brown Battery - (ground) wire goes to the outer terminal of the Black connector. The centre terminal of the black connector is not used.
You will need to relocate or build a mounting bracket for this regulator; it will not mount like the original regulator for this application.
Warning:
Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing.
Ensure proper installation by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.
